How many eyes does a mosquito have

A mosquito typically has two large compound eyes, which are made up of many tiny lenses called ommatidia. These compound eyes are located on the mosquito's head and provide it with a wide field of vision to help it navigate and locate food sources. In addition to these compound eyes, mosquitoes also have three simple eyes, called ocelli, which are located on the top of their heads and are primarily used for sensing changes in light intensity.
